Salford Choral Society March 2019

For your information.

On 30 March 2019, Salford Choral Society (SCS) is performing Elgar's 'Music Makers' and also a rarely-performed work 'The Fall of Jerusalem' by Dominic Muldowney. Tom Newall, our own MD, sang in the premiere of this work, in Leeds in 2000, when he was 13 years old,  as part of the youth choir, and was so impressed with it that he decided then and there to make music his career! He has always wanted to have the chance to conduct it himself, and SCS is doing just that in March. He has asked me to offer a complimentary ticket for MDs of choirs in the area, so that you can think about conducting the work yourself one day. Details are on the attached poster, and you can obtain your ticket by emailing me at tickets@salforchoral.org.uk. I can then leave your ticket at the Box Office on the day (or post one to you if you prefer). The concert takes place at the Royal Northern College of Music and starts at 7.30 p.m. and Dominic will be in the audience that evening.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best wishes
